A loan helped to buy seedlings to sell.

Josefa's story

Josefa is 44 years old and she is the single mother of her young son who is at school. Together they live in their own home in the Andres Ibañez province of the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

Josefa is a very hardworking woman who has been working in agriculture for four years, specifically in the cultivation of seedlings. She works every day from 7 in the morning until 6 in the afternoon and only rests on Thursdays.

Josefa sells the seedlings from her home in the area of El Torno. She is already well known by the entire population of the area and has an established clientele.

Josefa requested a loan to buy new seedlings and thus increase her capital and income. She hopes to be able to improve the quality of life of both her and her little son, and to provide a high level of education for her son.
