A loan helped to pay her tuition to earn a bachelor's degree.

Nana's story

Nana is an ambitious young woman from Tbilisi, who was already supported by Kiva lenders. She is a fourth year student at Georgian Shota Rustaveli Theater and Movie University and, also, works at a fast food service with a small monthly wage.

It is hard to continue studying at the university, since Nana has not enough of a source of income or help from her family. Nana sought out a loan to finance her fourth year tuition fees.

Credo has approved a student loan to her through a joint project with Kiva that gives Georgian students a good chance to invest money in their education.

Nana wants to have the opportunity to find a stable job in her field and generate significant income after graduation. She really appreciates support from the lenders, as her life will greatly improve with their help.

This loan is special because:

It allows low-income students to pursue education and find jobs before repaying.
