The committee Naranjaisy is an excellent group that was formed on October 10, 2008. It is made up of 28 women from the city of Ita. It was formed thanks to Mrs. Dolores G., who approached the adviser at a meeting for renewing credit that the foundation held in the area to find out more about the programs for entrepreneurial groups of women.

Dolores was very enthusiatic and anxious about the possibility to work with this program. The group is now happily working through its 6th cycle with the program.

Mrs. Delma is one of the members of the group, who works in a practical--as well as novel--field. She makes flags for household and restaurant use. She uses recycled as well as purchased materials. She makes the flags with the help of her children based on the number of orders she has.

She is very satisfied with her work, which has allowed her to help her family. She wants to continue working so that she her business can grow and hopes that in the future she can make other things to sell. The requested loan is for purchasing materials she uses to make the flags like cardboard, plastic, tails, dyes, and other materials.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
