A loan helped to renovate the restaurant equipment and also buy more groceries.

Manuselita's story

This is Manuselita. She is 45 years old. Her husband is in security and they have nine children.

Manuselita runs a restaurant at her own home, in the Capital area of Tongatapu. Her children help her out with the business. In her small restaurant, she sell out BBQ, Kentucky, curry and some other different types of traditional food as well as drinks. Her restaurant runs from Monday to Saturday every week, from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Lately, she just employs one lady to help her out with the cooking. Manuselita's business is growing because its location really help it out. The restaurant locates near the main road, for that is where their house is.

She is hoping to use her loan money to renovate her restaurant equipment and also buy more groceries for the business. Her plan for the future is to build a very professional restaurant for her family.
