A loan helped a member to pay for cattle to sell for covering his children's school fees.

Benkadi Group's story

Moussa is 39 years old and raises cattle. He is the one holding the steer by its horns in the photo. A married man, he is the father of 21 children, aged 3 months to 19 years, of whom four are girls in primary school.

He turns to RMCR to increase his buying power in the marketplace. He buys and sells at the local fairs through cash transactions with projected profits amounting to 40,000 francs a month. He has borrowed money with the goal of buying more cattle to raise.

Loans help him to cover the children’s cost of schooling, healthcare, and clothing. Moussa has been raising livestock for over five years. He is proud of himself, since he earns a living from this trade.
