A loan helped a member to build a grocery store in her home and to buy beauty products so that she can offer a variety of goods.

Los Vencedores Group's story

Cenia is a 25-year-old single mother with a nine-year-old child. Her mother helps with raising her child. Cenia sells beauty products such as liptsticks, eye shadows, perfumes, nail polishes, and other items.

She is requesting a Kiva loan to buy more beauty products. Cenia must order these products since her customers purchase from her by submitting their requests. She also helps her mother with selling food in the evenings such as steamed chicken and rice, grilled meats, cured meats, and beverages. In addition, Cenia will use the loan to build a grocery store in her home.

She describes herself as an honest, hardworking, and responsible person. Cenia is currently a member of the Communal Bank “Los Vencedores”, which has eight members. She also serves as the treasurer.
