A loan of $800 helped purchasing a large quantity of clothing merchandise.

Dominga Patrocinia's story

Dominga is 49 years old and has 4 children. She lives with her husband and her 3 younger children in their own house. She makes a living as a nanny, and works near her home from morning until 2 in the afternoon. At 3 p.m. Dominga opens up a clothing stand at the entrance to her home, where she has sold clothing for many years. She really likes this business because it generates good profits; she gives most of the credit to the items she sells and to her neighbors. On weekends she dedicates all of her time to selling clothing, since those are very busy days for her business. Dominga’s greatest wish is to have a large quantity of garments, especially the ones that are sought after by young girls in the neighborhood, as those are what sell the most quickly. This is her seventh loan with MFP, and she is known for making her payments punctually. She hopes to be able to receive additional loans, since she wants to continue making progress with her business. Dominga will use the money she has asked for to purchase a large quantity of garments as well as school shoes so that she can meet the orders of her customers.
