She is a tailor and works hard to earn enough money to meet her family’s needs. Hasena is applying for a loan to buy a new sewing machine for her shop because her old one is in very poor shape. She would also like to hire a student to work for her. To achieve these goals, she has applied for a loan of 15,000 Afghani. She is excited by the prospect of expanding her small business, and extends sincerest thanks to all Kiva lenders for their willingness to help the poor people of Afghanistan.
