Zuurakan's story

Zuurakan is 62 years old, a widow and has four children. She has a high school education. She knows agricultural technology well, and is able to invest money as intended. As a main source of income for her family, she has worked with livestock breeding in 1990. Thanks to her persistent work, her farm currently has eight cows and 30 sheep. She also has a plot of land of 0.48 hectares, on which she grows sweet corn and clover.

With an aim to further develop her business, Zuurakan turned to the bank "Bai Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to purchase pedigree livestock. She aims to increase her income from livestock breeding. Zuurakan plans to invest the income in further developing her business, in improving her family's living conditions and in improving her family's well-being.
