A loan helped to buy cattle to increase her income from livestock breeding.

Gulmira's story

Gulmira, age 39, is married and has 3 children. She has a secondary-school education. She knows agricultural technology and is able to invest money for its intended purpose. She has been raising livestock as the main source of income for her family since 1999. Thanks to her tireless work, her farm now has 8 cows, 25 sheep and 4 horses.
In order to further develop her farm, Gulmira has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 70,000 som (KGS) to purchase livestock with the aim of increasing her income from livestock raising. She plans to invest revenue from the loan in the further development of her farm, to repair her home and to improve her family's quality of life.
