A loan helped to buy chickens and farming supplies for her crops.

Diana Cumanda's story

Diana is a young woman who is 26 years of age. She is a single mother with a three-year-old daughter. Diana lives with her mother. Together they plant crops. In addition, Diana helps with the expenses by selling Avon products, working as a day laborer, and raising chickens. This enables her to provide for the needs of her daughter.

Diana wants to boost her crops and her business of raising chickens, so she is requesting a loan in order to buy chickens and farming supplies. As a result, she will be able to keep working in order to have capital. Diana dreams of opening a bakery and a fast food shop so that she can increase her earnings. Most of all, she would like to spend more time with her daughter and set an example for her. She also wants to provide her daughter with an education so that she can pursue a profession and have a better quality of life.
