A loan helped to pay for his children's school and transportation fees so they will be able to attend primary school this year.

Mentor's story

Mentor is a 41-year-old man from a village in south Albania. He is married and the father of three little children. He is one of Agro & Social Fund's most vulnerable clients. Mentor lives his family: his wife, his three little children, and his elderly father in a so-called house. "I am the only provider for my family, as my wife takes care our little ones and my disabled father. I practice different agricultural activities, but is very difficult in our region to make a good income with agricultural activity!" said Mentor desperately, during the interview.

Mentor's children have already started school, but Mentor hasn't paid the school and transportation fees yet. He is hoping for the second time for Kiva lenders' understanding. He is very thankful for your previous support; you enabled him to pay for some medical treatments for his father. "I don't pretend for him to recover but at least he hasn't felt much pains after the treatments!"-said Mentor, during the interview.
