A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase the number of cattle and sales of organic milk.

Guljamila's story

Guljamila successfully repaid her loan, having using the funds as intended. She is very grateful to Kiva and everyone who helped finance her. Her farm currently has one cow, 50 sheep, a horse, and a 3.7-hectare farm allotment where she grows beans.

Guljamila has again applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 100,000 KGS to purchase dairy cows so she can increase her income from selling organic milk. Guljamila plans to invest the revenue from her loan in further developing her farm and building a large new home.
