Mr. Sorn S. and his wife, Mrs. Sor Oriem, are farmers who own 1 hectare of land to cultivate rice for supporting their family. In the rice field, they have some problems because the field has infertile soil and is far from irrigation system. Thus, in order to improve rice production, Mr. Sorn S. is seeking a loan to purchase fertilizer and gasoline. Through their farming, the couple supports five children, four of whom are seamstresses in a garment factory, while the fifth helps the parents with the farming.
