Al Farah Group's story

Mona is the featured borrower of Al Farah Group which consists of three Syrian refugee women who have left their hometown searching for better living conditions.

She is a 29-year-old married mother of three children who is working in a clothes retail store to help her husband in covering her children needs.

Mona has joined with Ghadir and Iman to again acquire 'a refugee group loan' product from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, after their previous loan had covered some of their expenses. She will use her loan share to pay for her daughter's medical expenses; her daughter has to undergo a necessary surgery.

The sacrificing mother wishes her daughter a speedy recovery and wishes that all her children can enjoy healthy lives and prosperous futures.
