A loan of $500 helped to increase the variety of goods.

Kamran's story

Kamran is a low-income, vulnerable person. He is 45, married with three children, and lives in Saatli in the south-central plains area of the Azerbaijan Republic in the Caucasus region. Kamran rents a small shop in the local bazaar of Saatli town where he sells souvenirs, toys for children, etc. The business is very successful but needs some investment of capital to increase the daily turnover.

Kamran has no collateral that would allow him to apply to the commercial banks for a loan to provide capital for his little shop. That's why he has applied to Normicro's Saatli branch for a US$ 500 loan. This loan would allow him to buy bigger quantities of goods for resale and provide better for the necessities of life for his children.
