A loan of $725 helped maintain her two photocopiers & purchase a ring binding machine.

Griselda Amparo's story

Griselda is a 25 year old single mother with a young daughter. She lives in the house of her aunt and uncle in Monsefú District. This area is located 25 minutes from the city of Chiclayo and is known for producing handicrafts.

Griselda has been providing photocopy services for more than two years. She has two photocopy machines with which she provides service to two schools in the district where she lives. One of them is Colegio San Carlos, which is the largest in the district (since it provides both primary and secondary education). Griselda serves all of the students and teachers from that school. The other school is “The 11029”, which is an elementary school. This institution is managed by one of her relatives, who pays Griselda each day for her support services. Her business is useful both to her and to the student population because this service is indispensable and is offered at comfortable prices.

Griselda wants to provide maintenance to her photocopiers and also buy a ring binding machine so that she can start providing this service. For this reason, she decided to request her first loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount 2000 PEN so that she can achieve her objective. She is a hardworking woman who knows how to succeed with great effort. Griselda does not shy away from her status as a single mother. On the contrary, she sees her daughter as motivation to excel every day.
