A loan of $725 helped will buy a kiosk to sell her natural produce.

Felicita Nicolasa's story

Nicolasa is 62 years old and lives with her husband and two married daughters in her own house. All her life she has worked in agriculture; it has always been a fundamental part of the economic development of her family. She sows potatoes, corn, peas, broad beans, carrots, spinach, and other natural produce. After harvest, she herself sells all her production at retail, in the local market. In this way, she makes more money. Each day she works to earn a living and also enjoys her work because she knows very well how to cultivate vegetables. Her wish is to improve the quality of her harvests, and in the future she plans to set up a stable place for sales, where she can offer her produce more easily. This is the 17th time that she has requested a loan from MFP, and she is very grateful to all the people who make these loans that permit her to continue working. Nicolasa has thought of investing this loan in a kiosk where she can sell her produce, and she will purchase fertilizer for the next growing season.
