A loan of $8,000 helps start a podcast that will explore and challenge the concept of beliefs and giving.

Dallas's story

In 2006, I was your typical community college student working a part-time job in retail. After (accidentally) watching a documentary about children in Uganda, I felt that I had to do something to help and started one of the very first give back brands ever. With just 24 shirts, a MySpace page, and $150, I built a business that would go on to sell thousands and thousands of shirts and donate over $140,000.00 to charity. I have learned (and changed) a lot over the years and would love to share my experience and showcase others who are giving back in different ways by starting a podcast called Common People For The Common Good.
