A loan of $725 helped purchase ingredients needed to prepare more dishes.

Gloria Quety's story

Gloria is 47 years old, married, and lives with her husband and 19 year old son in the city of Ferreñafe, which is located twenty minutes away from the city of Chiclayo.

For twenty years, she has managed a vending post at the market in the city of Ferreñafe where she sells food. She offers her customers all types of dishes for lunch. Her business has been well received because she provides good service and for the great flavor of the prepared foods that she offers. Gloria says the idea for her business resulted from a need to obtain a more stable income for her family so that they could all get ahead. Her husband works as a farmer, but his work only provides seasonal income.

Gloria wants to increase her business by preparing a wider variety of dishes. For this reason, she is requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 2000 PEN to be used for purchasing supplies needed to achieve her objective. She is a friendly woman who enjoys what she does. Gloria strives daily in her business so that her family can move forward. She is proud that her son is studying for his college degree in computer science. Gloria previously worked with our Institution and has demonstrated that she is a punctual and responsible client with her payments. Her greatest wish is to open a restaurant for tourists.
