A loan of $900 helped purchase materials needed to produce handmade jewelry.

Felicita's story

Felicia is 41 years old and lives in her own home with her 14 year old son. For the past eight years, she has been dedicated to the meticulous task of manufacturing earrings, necklaces, and bracelets out of precious stones of different colors. She enjoys her work because she already has regular customers (stores) that buy all of her products. Felicia is able to generate good earnings because she buys her materials in bulk. In addition, she says this work is very peaceful and allows her to stay at home so that she can look after her son. As a result of her earnings, she has been able to make it on her own. Being an enterprising woman, Felicia has plans in the future to open a small bazaar in her home where she can peacefully sell all types of merchandise in bulk or by the unit.

This is her sixth loan with MFP. Felicia is very grateful to everyone who made it possible for her to receive this loan so that she can continue working. She plans to use the money she requested to buy materials in bulk so that she can continue producing these beautiful jeweled accessories.
