Isidora's story

Isidora is a member of the “Nuestra Señora de la Paz” ("Our Lady of Peace") communal bank, in the Tarapoto District, Province of San Martín, Department of San Martín. She is 52 years old and has a live-in partner, and she is the mother of 4 children who are already independent.

Isidora's business is selling watches in Tarapoto's Market 2. She has a steady customer base among friends, local residents and others. With her first loan for 300 Peruvian new soles, she bought watches of all brands and various models, along with parts and other items.

With this loan for 2,000 new soles, she will buy watches of all brands and models, for men, women and children, as well as straps, watch batteries, sunglasses, etc.

She says: "I am grateful for the opportunity offered to me by the Manuela Ramos Movement organization, providing loans that help me develop as a woman and a small business owner."
