A loan helped to purchase buffalo in order to expand her dairy business.

Labhuben's story

Labhuben is a 29-year-old married woman living in a small village in Surendranagar district, Gujarat. She has her own dairy business selling milk, ghee, and buttermilk at the local market. She has a household of 4 members and a household monthly income of 25,000 INR.

Labhuben wants to purchase a buffalo to increase dairy production and expand her business. She will sell the extra milk, ghee, and buttermilk at the local market. However, her monthly household income is hardly enough to support her family, let alone buy another buffalo. Hence, she has applied for a loan of 30,000 INR from Prayas, one of Milaap's field partners.

She and her family will be thankful to their lenders for their kind support.
