A loan helped to buy 15 pieces of pagnes.

Amele Kaka's story

29-year-old Amele is married with two children. She is a seamstress and she makes clothing which she sells. She needs to buy pagnes (colourful and decorative West African cloth) twice a month in the shops that sell it. She is requesting some funds so that she can buy a variety of pagnes and satisfy her customers.

With a bit of courage, she plans to get out of poverty so that she is able to support her children with their education.
