Claudia's story

Claudia is 39 years old and lives in her own home with her two young children who attend school.

For the past year she’s been selling treats, snacks, breads and soft drinks from a kiosk located in one of the schools in the zone where she lives. She runs her business alone from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and tells us that likes her work very much because it requires patience. It also brings her a good income which allows her to help her children get ahead. She is a hard working woman who constantly looks for ways to make money honestly. For this reason she also sells a well-known brand of beauty products to her friends through a catalog. She earns commissions from these sales. She tells us that it isn’t much, but it helps pay the bills. In the future she plans to expand her snack business and offer a greater variety of items.

This will be her third loan through MFP and she is very grateful to all the people who have made this loan possible, which has allowed her to continue running her business. Claudia will use the money from this loan to large quantities of items to stock her business. She will also buy a few beauty products on sale in order to be able to resell them for slightly more than her cost.
