Los Socios De La Esperanza Group's story

The Los Socios de la Esperanza Communal Bank is located in Horacio Cevallos in the Ate district, Lima department. It is comprised of 11 members who have worked with Edaprospo-Prosperidad for four years. Their members engage in diverse production, commercial, and service activities.

Paulina Natividad is the president. She is 40, in a common law marriage, and has six children. Five of her children are school-age, and one is independent. She has been selling basic needs items like groceries and soft drinks for 18 years. Her business is called Yauyinito. She used to sell sweets from a cart on a public road. Because she was pregnant she decided to set up her business in her home. Through her daily work efforts Paulina built a one story house and supports her children’s education.

She will use the recent loan to buy seasonal merchandise like school supplies.

All of the members are grateful for the loan, and they promise to make their payments on the time table established by Prosperidad.
