A loan helped a member to buy oil, rice, flour.

Tous Unis Group's story

Lutonde is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and president of the groupe solidaire "Tous Unis" ["all united"]. She is 37 years old, married and has seven children. Five of them go to school and two are already married. Her husband is a public official.

Lutonde sells various items in her shop, which she started in 2013 with the financial help from her husband. Later on, she requested a loan from Hekima to support her activities. With the new loan, she wants to buy oil, rice, flour and detergent in bulk in order to strengthen her capital. Her business doesn't have any particular challenges.

She would like to ensure her children's education and feed her family. She thanks Hekima and its partners for their support of entrepreneurs that aren't bankable.

In this group: Lutonde, Eveline, Angelique, Furaha, Packimos
