A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase her volume of milk sales to a local factory.

Uulzhan's story

Uulzhan is 48 and married with three children. She has a high school education and works as a nurse. She has also been working in animal husbandry and agriculture since 1993 as an additional source of income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and help from her husband, she currently has 12 cows, 20 sheep and two horses on her farm as well as 2.0 hectares of land where she grows beans. She also has a contract to provide organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to constantly invest in her agricultural business.

Having found out that she could receive a loan for future repayment from Bai Tushum Bank within the framework of the "chain of added value" product, she approached them for a loan of 150,000 KGS to buy dairy cows to increase her volume of milk sales. Payments from the factory for the milk will be directly deposited into her bank account, and loan payments automatically debited. Income from the loan will help her develop her farm in the future and give her children a good education.
