Daniel K. pictured in the middle is the leader of this group. The 33-year-old was born in Binkolo village in northern Sierra Leone. He is married to a businesswoman and they have two children. One of his children is attending primary school and the other is in secondary school. For two years now, Daniel has been selling ice cream; before that, he was a school teacher. With his share of the loan (SLL 800,000), Daniel will buy ice cream and also invest in a new business. He will buy cartons of fish.
