A loan helped to buy slippers, cigarettes, coffee, sugar, salt, milks, water and a refrigerator.

Helena's story

Helena is 23 years old and married with 2 children. Her husband is a driver in the city of Dili. She has a kiosk store she started in 2014, where many people come to buy goods every day. Running her business has made Helena independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family.

She would like a loan of $1,000 USD from Kaebauk Investimentu no Finansas (KIF) to help improve her kiosk. She plans to use this loan to buy additional supplies such as slippers, cigarettes, coffee, sugar, salt, milks, water and a refrigerator.

Helena hopes to run a bigger business in the future and wants to thank all lenders for the opportunity.
