A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle herd and sales of organic milk.

Urulkan's story

Urulkan, age 64, is married and has 3 sons and a daughter. She has a secondary-school education. She knows agricultural technology and is able to invest money for its intended purpose. She has raised livestock as her family's main source of income since 1979, and also sells organic milk. Thanks to her tireless work, her farm now has 18 cows, 50 sheep and 6 horses.
For the purpose of further developing her farm, Urulkan has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 250,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of dairy cows, with the aim of increasing revenue from organic milk sales. Urulkan plans to invest revenue from the loan in the further development of her farm, to increase her cattle herd and to improve her family's living conditions.
