Jeremiah's story

Jeremiah is a 28 year old owner of Copytec enterprises in Kakamega, Kenya. Jeremiah has provided typesetting, laminating, binding, computer servicing, and photocopy services from his location in a busy town market at the city center for 2.5 years. He has two employees and mainly caters to schools, colleges, cybercafe owners, and other locals. Mainly, he faces challenges such as lack of steady business capital to allow him to supply a large variety of printer cartridges, and competition from other similar businesses in the same location. In 5 years Jeremiah would like his business to operate internationally and be able to purchase stock from abroad in bulk, as well as creating awareness about starting and running a business amongst his friends and relatives. He hopes to use proceeds from his business to provide a quality education for his two young boys.
