Mrs. Mom T. is a silk weaver who earns a small income to support her family. In order to expand her business and increase her income, she has decided to ask for a loan to buy more silk. This will help improve her family's standard of living. Her husband, Mr. Thy S., is a farmer who owns a small piece of land to cultivate rice. The couple has eight children, two of whom are silk weavers and support their mother's weaving business, another is a taxi driver, two are laborers for silk weavers, while the other three attend the local school. All the members of this group loan are shown in the photograph, but one of them is hidden from view.
