Jose Enrique's story

Jose Enrique lives in the Talolinga neighborhood in the New Guinea municipality. He has worked with livestock since he was very small. His family is comprised of his wife, Elsa Maria, and their four children. Sandra is 16, and she is going to start her university studies. Derling is 15, and he is in high school. Dervin Yarel is in high school. Yarelis is the youngest; he is two years old. The older children and his wife help him with the field work.

Jose Enrique is requesting his first loan to buy dairy cows. This will be an instant source of income for his family, and it will allow him to improve the living conditions in his home. He is a very hard-working man with a lot of desire to improve. He hopes to receive a loan from Kiva to improve his family’s conditions. In he community he is considered to be a responsible and honest man with good moral values.
