A loan of $375 helped to buy cured meats.

Julia Anita's story

Julia is a 34-year-old mother that lives with her husband and three children in Paiján district, Ascope province, La Libertad region, which is two-and-a-half hours from the city of Chiclayo, capital of Lambayeque region. For the past 5 years she has sold cured meats in Paiján’s El Tambo market. This is an extremely important business for the family’s finances; her husband is in the same line of work, but in a market located in a nearby city. Julia’s business is well-known for the quality of the products she offers and for the good customer service she provides. In addition, Julia sells anticuchos (meat kabob) in the afternoon on one of Paiján’s downtown streets. This business also produces significant income that is used for family expenses. Julia wants to enlarge her sale of cured meats. She is asking Edpyme Alternativa for a 1000 new sol loan to buy more merchandise to have available for her customers. She is a cheerful and hard-working woman. Her greatest wish is to continue to work hard to insure a better quality of life for her children and to provide them with a good education that will guarantee them a successful future. Julia has managed previous loans with our institution and has been responsible and punctual with her repayment commitments. In the photo she appears selling anticuchos in the afternoon.
