A loan helped a lonely boy to pay for his personal medical expenses so he will recover his health and lead a normal life.

Mariglen's story

Mariglen is a 32-year-old boy and lives alone in a small house in southeast Albania. To provide for himself, he has been working in a manual car-wash for more than five years. He receives less than $1 for every car that he washes. He washes approximately 15 cars/day, which means a $13 income per day.

Mariglen has been living alone for a long time now. "My father passed away 10 years ago. Not much after him, my mother too. Both from the same illness. I am really afraid for my medical condition as I have started to have the same symptoms as them. I want to go in Macedonia to have proper treatment and medication, so I will be able to prevent the disease, not like my poor parents who passed away thinking that the disease would heal itself!"-said Mariglen desperately during the interview.

Mariglen thanks you all for the support and wishes all the best to Kiva lenders.
