Ketevan's story

Ketevan is married woman, from the Lagodekhi district. She is a hard-working person, who desires to have her own business and lead it herself.

Ketevan needs financial support to build a guesthouse. She would like to fully renovate it and purchase all needed furniture and inventory. She will rent the rooms to tourists, whose numbers increase each year through the district and it is quite a profitable activity in the region.

She has been approved for a loan within the framework of a joint initiative between Kiva and Credo. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. The loan will greatly assist Ketevan and her husband, who will be able to improve their economic situation and give their family a better way of life.
