A loan of $250 helped to buy necklaces and purses.

Betty's story

Betty, 30, lives with her life partner and their daugher in her own home.

For the last 2 years she has sold seasonal purses, shoes and costume jewelry to her neighbors and acquaintances. She usually works alone because her partner is involved in a different activity and her daugher is in school. Her business earns good profits thanks to the effort she puts into it. She goes out at 9am and works until 6pm only coming home to prepare lunch and care for her family.

For the future, she plans to set up a store in her house so that she can sell more comfortably. For this, however, she needs more capital and she still doesn't have the necessary time to dedicate to her business because she must care for her daughter and see to household chores. This is why the store is still in her future plans.

This is Betty's 4th loan with MFP and she promisses to be as punctual now with her repayments as she's been in the past.

She will use the funds to buy larger quantities of purses and necklaces, which are the items that sell best during this season.
