A loan of $925 helped a member to buy harvests of fruits and vegetables.

Areas Group's story

The group "Áreas" consists of three hardworking, entrepreneurial people who work selling perishable produce. One of them is Sebastiana, who sells seasonal fruits and vegatables. She has been working in this business with her partner for five years and will use the loan to buy crops of mangos, avocados, and jocotes, which are fruits of this season.

The other members are José who has been buying and selling pineapples since 1992 and Graciela who sells fruits and vegetables and has a small store in her house.

This group has been working with Adim for five loan cycles in which they have been participants in the trainings on capacity building, business development, and self esteem that Adim offers. According to them, this has benefited them greatly as they learned to invest, gain more orders, grow their businesses, and arrange their money.
