A loan of $400 helped to buy more medicine to restock her shop (Amoxyl, Ampiclox, Erylthomycis, and Septin).

Linet's story

Linet has received a KES 30,000 loan from SMEP to restock her pharmacy, 'Shibuye Chemist', in the town center of Kakamega, Kenya. She has been in the business for 6 years and prior to starting her own pharmacy, she was working as a pharmacist in the local hospital.

Linet is married with two young girls. She describes herself as hard-working and visionary - and eventually she wishes to expand her business to open a dispensary, and to own a plot of land of her own.
