A loan helped a member to buy 250 kilograms of corn flour and 20 lengths of pagne [bright, colorful fabric].

La Sagesse Group's story

Eveline is the president of the banque villageois called "La Sagesse" and a client with the micro-finance institution Hekima. She works mainly as a seamstress, but also sells corn flour. She received start-up money from her mother while she was alive and Hekima afterwards.

Eveline is 44 years old, divorced, and has six children in school. With this loan, she is going to buy 250 kilograms of corn flour and 20 lengths of pagne [bright, colorful fabric] which she will make into clothing to sell.

Her goal and her fight each day is to provide proper schooling to her children. She thanks Hekima and their dear partners for their good initiative to support financially poor people.
