A loan of $1,200 helped bUYING NATURAL MEDICINES TO SELL.

María Gumercinda's story

María is 46 years old and resides in Morazán Department. She lives with her husband who is an employee in a private enterprise, and with her mother-in-law. María is a very hard working woman who doesn't stand around with arms crossed when faced with the difficult situation she and her family endures.

That's why she began selling natural medicines some 5 years ago in communities in the east, such as La Unión and San Miguel. Each day she sets out on foot to sell her products, offering very good prices. The confidence she stirs in people, plus her many years of experience, is why she has so many customers.

She requests a loan in order to have the money necessary to buy the medicines, because in most cases, she sells her products on credit and often, she lacks the money necessary to augment her inventory. She does this primarily with the intention of helping her husband with the costs of the home, so that they can count on greater economic stability.
