A loan helped to buy small calves to increase his business.

Sherif's story

Sherif is married and has three children; his wife is a housewife. He is financially responsible for his aging parents, and has a small cattle-fattening business. He requested a loan before, and repaid it on time.

After the success of the previous loan, Sherif is asking for a loan to develop his business and ensure its continuation, including buying small calves to increase his business profits. Then, he will sell the dairy products (like cheeses, milk, and butter) in local markets, or his wife will market them on foot in the streets of their village. He hopes that the profits will support him in paying household expenses and school fees for his children.

This loan is special because:

It contributes to sustainable development in a community with high unemployment.
