Believe In God Iii Group's story

This group of entrepreneurs named their group 'Believe In God III'. They are small-scale businesswomen based in Makeni city, in northern Sierra Leone. With this loan, they will be able to expand their businesses, make more profit, and consequently improving their families’ well-being.

Isatu K., pictured on the right, is the leader of this group. Isatu was born in Makeni about 45 years ago. She is married to a teacher and they have 5 children – 2 in secondary school and 3 in primary school. For quite a number of years now, Isatu has been selling 'gara lappers' (locally dyed clothes, sometimes with fabricated designs) and cakes. With her share of this loan, she will buy gara-lapper-making materials like ink, caustic soda, white cotton and pay experts to make designs on the cottons.
