A loan helped to buy piglets, pig feed, timbers and fencing wires for her business.

Natalyn's story

Natalyn is a 50 year-old woman and is married with six children. They live in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a farming business where she sells pigs in her community to earn a living to support her family. She has been in this business for four years.

Natalyn has requested a new loan to pay for additional piglets, pig feed, timbers and fencing wires to increase her stocks and make a new house for her pigs.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and help pay for her children's education fees.

She joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services.
