Rekhaben's story

Rekhaben is a 43-year-old married woman from a little village in Dahod district, Gujarat. She runs a jewelry business where she sells different varieties of bangles. She has a household of four members and a monthly household income of INR 22,000.

She is planning to add more varieties of bangles to her store and plans on selling other kinds of jewelry. By purchasing more bangles, she aims to expand her business, however, her monthly household income is not enough to meet these needs. Therefore, she has applied for a loan of INR 30,000 from Prayas, one of Milaap's field partners.
