A loan helped a member to buy apples, semolina, and beverages in order to bolster her business.

Maserafi Group's story

Mme Aziza is a client of the MFI Hekima and president of the banc villageois Maserafi. She is a 48 years old widow with 6 children who all go to school.

She has been selling groceries and beverages, and has a restaurant that she started in 2000 with initial funding from her late husband. She is requesting a loan from Hekima to bolster her business. With it, she will buy apples, semolina, and beverages. She hopes her business will help meet the challenge of paying her debts.

Her hope is to buy a plot of land. She is grateful for Hekima and their partners, and for the support provided to non-bankable entrepreneurs.
