A loan helped a member to purchase merchandise to stock her business such as purses, curtains, quits, and accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc.

Ulloa : Grupo 3 Group's story

Elsa is a woman known in her community as being cooperative and helpful. She lives in a batey in the province of San Pedro de Macorís. Bateys are communities where people, primarily Haitian immigrants, live in extreme poverty.

Elsa is a young mother who, for twenty years, has worked selling purses, curtains, quilts, and accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, rings, and more. The idea for this business came from the necessity to generate income to help her family.

Elsa dreams of someday seeing her business big and prosperous and that her family can get out of the cycle of poverty in which they have lived for decades.

Elsa needs your help to purchase new merchandise to stock her business and to continue generating more income.
