Luz's story

Luz, age 50, is a very loving mother to her children and a good wife. This month she is taking care of her mother-in-law who is elderly. The whole family lives in a rented house.

At her sister’s invitation, she started selling nutritional products. At first she did not like selling because she is very shy and does not talk a lot. But, she had to do it to help her husband cover the family expenses. Her husband is a carpenter.
She has now been selling these products for two years, and she gets good profits. She is now accustomed to her work, and she has learned a lot about sales techniques.

Luz’s desire is to buy a piece of land and set up a carpentry shop there for her husband while she continues with her business from home.

This is her second loan with MFP. She promises to make her payments punctually, like she did before. She wants to wins the institution’s confidence in order to access loans in the future. They are valuable to her progress. She will use the money she is now requesting to increase the quantity of nutritional products that she sells. She will also help her husband buy wood for making furniture.
