A loan helped to buy assorted goods such as noodles, canned goods, beverages, and toiletries.

Flocerfina's story

64-year-old Flocerfina runs a sari-sari (variety) store. She sells basic commodities such as sugar, cooking oil, eggs, assorted canned goods, noodles, and toiletries. She has four adult children. Her partner in life works as a farmer.

Flocerfina's main challenge at the moment is the lack of funds to boost the inventory in her shop. She decided to avail herself of a loan from CEVI (a Kiva field partner in the Philippines), which was used to buy assorted goods such as noodles, canned goods, beverages, and toiletries.

Flocerfina has high hopes that her existing project will become sustainable and that she will be able to continue to save for the future.
